The Hub is a quarterly free magazine, distributed to every house and business in Windermere, Bowness and Troutbeck Bridge (in fact, all of the LA23 postcode area). Articles are submitted by members of the local community, edited and compiled by South Lakes Developement Trust, printed locally and delivered by the Royal Mail.

The costs of printing and delivery are covered by a number of small grants, and advertising revenue, with the remainder of the costs, and the staff time that goes in to producing each edition, being covered by the Trust as part of it’s mandate to serve the local community.
