Atmospheric Attraction Arrives Again!

For the 7th consecutive year the Rotary Club of Windermere in conjunction with the Royal Air Force will be presenting the highly successful Airshow & Family Weekend on Sat/Sun 28th/29th July, in the skies around Windermere and on the Glebe at Bowness.

The world-famous Red Arrows aerobatic display team will carry out their performance at 12 noon on Sunday 29th July.

Also appearing are RAF Tucano and Hawk aircraft, and the Sea King search and rescue helicopter.

Among the ground attractions will be Silver Band Falconry, military vehicles, a miniature steam train, jugglers & acrobats, 3 brass bands, Taylors Fun Fair, bouncy castle, and games. In the main marquee will be displays by local charities and other organisations.

Due to the volume of crowds expected there will be an additional car park as well as the municipal car parks available.

A copy of the official event programme is required for entry to the display areas — available from all local Tourist Information Centres during July, so pick up your copy and bring the whole family for a fun weekend!
