Windermere Scouts

2007 is Scouting's Centenary Year. Windermere Scouts joined in with 4 Centenary events. In April, the Kentdale Scouts, Cubs and Beavers celebrated St. George's Day with a cruise on the steamer, Teal. We were challenged to 'think differently' for this event. In May, we held a district camp, in June an It's a Knockout event, and in August, we held a Sunrise Ceremony to renew our promise, at Kendal Castle, with a family picnic and lots of entertainment. (Our Sunrise Ceremony happened at 8p.m.!!) Lots of badges have been gained, and the members have enjoyed a year to remember.
