25 years of Soroptimism in Windermere

Soroptimist International of Windermere & District, to mark the 25th Anniversary of the founding of the Club, have awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Club to Mrs. Bettie Norwood of Windermere Park, Windermere in recognition of Mrs. Norwood's outstanding contribution to both the Windermere & District Club and to Soroptimism.

Mrs. Norwood is a founder member of the Windermere & District Club and was the Club's first President. Mrs. Norwood has been President of the North West Region and has held a number of offices both at Club and Regional level.
