Weekends on Windermere

…is the theme for this year’s Windermere on Water Festival. For the first time the event will be staged over two weekends, with community activity events on the first weekend (June 7-8), and the big set-piece event on June 14. The Sailing Regatta will be on June 6-8.

Feedback from last year suggested there should be more local, community-based activities, and we want to ensure there is a good variety of events for all interests over the first weekend, at locations all around the Lake. Ideas include guided or self-guided walks, musical performances, have-a-go opportunities, behind-the-scenes tours of buildings or businesses – anything that you think could interest people, raise the profile of your organisation – and hopefully generate some fun!
