- Consider bollard lighting of steps from Park Road towards Oldfield Court and Business Centre. (public footpath over winding steps - install handrail). Respond
- Our council tax is high, but a Troutbeck Bridge we have no road care. The school drive is full of holes, no one grits the roads, the snow is never cleared. Respond
- The footpath up Main Road is in urgent need of resurfacing. There are so many patches and unevenness from the crossing to the paper shop that it is a disgrace. Respond
- Pavements are unsafe with unexpected slopes near corner Broad Street/Crescent Road and near Post Office. Number of people have fallen because of unexpected angle. Respond
- I like the new wide pavements and the lighting - white, problem with large lorry deliveries. Respond
- Toilets are Glebe important. Pavements a hazard for partially sighted. Respond
- Pavements - wheelie bins are often left out. This is a danger and against the clean neighbourhood act. Back lanes blocked. Respond
- Toilets - not always inspected often enough and toilet on Glebe car park should be re-opened. Pavements - the new pavements are going to be dangerous in winter. Local materials should have been used. Parks - I go into Queens Park every day and usually end up picking up loads of rubbish left from the evening before. More police patrolling at night needed. Respond
- Pavement angles on the improvements - embossed bits dangerous. Respond
- Toilets - they need refurbing and cleaning regularly and generally sprucing up. Pavements - they are uneven and all at different angles. Floral Displays - who is responsible for watering these new tubs as they all seem to be dead. Respond
- Public toilets are vital for old people and tourists - if you are caught short when shopping etc going to a bar should not be the answer. The new paving is at least a nice colour but is it safe for high heels etc. Respond
- Pavements - there are a lot of overhanging/overgrown trees and shrubs everywhere in Windermere. Some areas are bad enough to push pedestrians out into the road. Respond
- Toilets - more required. Signage - exiting signs should be cleaned more often. Pavements - obstruction by 'A' Boards. Respond
- A lot of pavements need attention - uneven tarmac etc. Respond
- The Crescent Road Scheme is a colossal waste of money and already looks messy - stained pavements, pointless metal obstructions The pavement is not even pleasant to walk on Local businesses suffered with months of havoc and disruption. Do not waste money - future enhancement schemes must not repeat this debacle. Respond
- More one-way signs at Glebe. Wash pavement by Steamer Quay sometimes to remove bird poo. Respond
- Too many signs. Toilets are disgusting in Windermere. Watering of plants not often enough. Pavements are a disgrace and when reported are only patched up with a bit of tarmac which doesn't last. Respond
- Pavements - the new ones in Windermere are dangerous! The slopes and lumps make for stumbling and tripping up! Many people have said this. Respond
- All should be open in place of the 2 million visitors and often finding difficulty locating one. Finance - for the toilets should be supplemented by the central funds. Sewage system requires enlarging due to the 2 million population explosion in Summer. Pavements are too uneven for the blind and aged. Crescent Road/Lake Road traffic lights have no warning sounds for the blind. Respond
- Signs - please can we have a nice new sign for Queen's Park - I've been asking for years. Toilets - are disgusting - I wouldn't visit them even if I was busting. Pavements - new ones uneven and puddle very quickly. Respond
- Pavements in Windermere are dangerous - the new ones are very uneven. Respond
- Toilets need to be kept open and modernized and staffed. Signs from shops should not be left on the pavements, due to many blind and disabled visiting Bowness-on-Windermere. Respond
- Toilets - reinstate toilets at the Glebe. Signage - insufficient signage on approach to village of Windermere's 'roundabout'. Cars still turning right coming out of Booth's - inadequately signed. Pavements - contrasting levels of pavement in Windermere - accidents waiting to happen! Respond
- Inprovement scheme - cobbles difficult to walk on. Signage round mini roundabout coming up Main Road think right turn up on way for Booths. Respond
- Lighting - no to lights on footpaths. Signage - remove all but essential signs - there is far too much clutter. Pavements - repair potholes. Pavements - remove tactile paving. Respond
- Public toilets are essential - where do visitors go otherwise? The new Windermere pavements are so uneven. Wrong materials used. There are too many signs/adverts too distracting. Ensure lighting directed down, not skywards. Respond
- Parks - develop a children's park equivalent to Windermere. Floral displays good but cement containers in Ellerthwaite Square. Oh dear! Pavements - Council street cleaner. Toilets - Main Bowness Glebe Road be opened and developed. Lighting of side roads to be upgraded. Respond
- Pavements are dangerous in places. Toilets need care. Signage - too many irrelevant ones. Need cleaning. Too many bits and pieces of metal around Windermere shops. Pavements and cobbles dangerous. Respond
- Our street (North Terrace - the pavements have been cleaned once in 6 years). The road sweeper just cleans the gully. Respond
- The steps down from Park Road accessing the footpath to Oldfield Court have very poor hand rails. One has gone and one is lose and some people have fallen as a result. Respond
