- The need for CCTV in Windermere is a must! Particularly in car parks and public spaces. Maybe better lighting in some areas would be enough? Respond
- Local community policeman doing a very good job, but there is still a big issue with vandalism. Local police station should be open in daytime and more obvious info on where to contact them. Late night rowdyism a problem - how are late opening hours monitored. Don't want CTV, but better lighting in Rayrigg Road, c.p. More police involvement in enforcing 10mph limit on lake. Respond
- Better street lighting along Rayrigg Road, Bowness by the car park. Roundabout at Windermere station. Better car parking in Bowness. Respond
- Rayrigg Road, Bowness is very dark and needs lighting . The car park lights behind the pedestrian. There is a light on at Nat West Bank corner day and night. Respond
- Troutbeck Bridge - the floodlighting on the 'all weather' pitich should be on a 'pay as you go meter. The lights are blazing every night till 10pm even when there is no activity. Waste of energy and money. Respond
- Troutbeck Bridge street lighting on Main Road need regular checking as they often go out. (By the Sun Hotel). Respond
- Lighting round Rayrigg Road./Fallbarrow urgently needs sorting. Respond
- Overhanging vegetation! Broad Street car park - there is a light in a tree. Respond
- Lighting - how about cutting the vegetation around the lighting and then we may know we have it. Bins - look messy and need washing. Dong urine - this needs addressing. Respond
- Toilets - employ a person to clean and change all users. Will lead to cleaner environment. Signage - should be clean and placed so that drivers don't see sign as an obstruction. Lighting - street lighting on A591 - Bantering. Respond
- Need enhancements of library gardens. Better maintenance and drainage of Queens Park grassed areas. Lighting - needs improvement in an around Library Gardens, Marchesi, Broad Street toilets. Also need better lighting round School Knott Closem, Queen Park Rec - buildings. Respond
- Lighting - no to lights on footpaths. Signage - remove all but essential signs - there is far too much clutter. Pavements - repair potholes. Pavements - remove tactile paving. Respond
- More consultation on where Windermere Town Council want to put in new lights as this is precepted and put through my council tax. I would like to priorotise there for locals. Respond
- Toilets - I think signs on toilet doors saying 'these toilets are closed' are ridiculous. If the toilet signs were removed then visitors wouldn't know what they were missing. Signage - much of it is tatty and needs clearing or replacement. Lighting - don't want any more, as this is a rural area. Respond
- Lighting not a major issue. Windy Hall Road, 30mph limit so should have lighting. Respond
- Public toilets are essential - where do visitors go otherwise? The new Windermere pavements are so uneven. Wrong materials used. There are too many signs/adverts too distracting. Ensure lighting directed down, not skywards. Respond
- Less lighting overall - Langrigg better facilities. Respond
- Too much energy wasted on street lighting in the middle of the night when very few people are about. Respond
