- Parks are needed to keep the amenity open for locals. Respond
- Queens Park play area is fantastic, but who maintains it. The rubber madding is now so slimy they are dangerous! Respond
- Our Parks are wonderful for relaxation and children's play. The children playground on the rec is superb. Respond
- Toilets - not always inspected often enough and toilet on Glebe car park should be re-opened. Pavements - the new pavements are going to be dangerous in winter. Local materials should have been used. Parks - I go into Queens Park every day and usually end up picking up loads of rubbish left from the evening before. More police patrolling at night needed. Respond
- Parks - very important. Open space for all people, children play, older people sit and chat in the sun (hopefully). Essential to have open spaces amongst the built up areas, many Victorian and with no gardens, only a yard. Parks need to be kept for use of all and not built all over (eg Orrest Drive Green & Queens Park). Respond
- Parks - cleanliness. There are posters warning dog walkers about a £15 fine for dog fowling. On the rec every morning it is a disgrace with litter. How about a warning for youths etc about a find for litter. Respond
- Floral displays - what a fix, winning that award, Continental Landscapes needs to learn how to water properly. Parks - fantastic but we need more free facilities like this (free). Respond
- Lock the toilets at night. Better signage - park facilities, railway station. Parks - better management for library gardens and car park - cut back vegetation and better lighting. Unsightly and unkempt telephone exchange is there an uglier building in Lakeland? Respond
- Need enhancements of library gardens. Better maintenance and drainage of Queens Park grassed areas. Lighting - needs improvement in an around Library Gardens, Marchesi, Broad Street toilets. Also need better lighting round School Knott Closem, Queen Park Rec - buildings. Respond
- Leisure facilities - we should be providing more free facilities for families, swimming should be free for children in the holidays. Birthwaite and Ellerthwaite Gardens should have more investment giving enjoyment at low cost. Young people - how about a youth council. Get them involved, they feel a sense of pride in where they live and have some great ideas. Community Action Group - why not set the above up to help provide the above. Respond
- The blue and white 'pod' on Queen's Park. A complete waste of money. Very little used. The young ones prefer the cricket pavilion on the library gardens. Respond
- Youth Club on Queens Park. Large wooden hut with toilet and café. Something like 60 x 60 feet. Respond
- Parks - develop a children's park equivalent to Windermere. Floral displays good but cement containers in Ellerthwaite Square. Oh dear! Pavements - Council street cleaner. Toilets - Main Bowness Glebe Road be opened and developed. Lighting of side roads to be upgraded. Respond
- Toilets - charge '50p 2 pee) and install fancy new ones. Signage - clean 'em'! Florals - more of 'em'. Parks are good ((I think) Good flower beds are well tended. Respond
- Queen's Park - SLDC's plan to move the electricity sub station onto Queen's Park will cost £250,000 which will fall on all electricity customers. It should stay on its present site. Respond
