- LDNPA brought into 21st century by relaxing planning rules to allow energy efficient usage. Respond
- Financial assistance needed for households to install solar panels and some more grants for double glazing,. Respond
- Building homes is bad for the environment, so existing houses should be bought instead. Grants to housing associations are available for this, but housing associations are not bidding to the Government Housing Corporation. Respond
- Housing - houses unoccupied could be used for low cost housing. Poor monitoring of people occupying low cost housing. Subsidies available for energy saving devices - solar panels. Respond

- Better use of waste materials, which can be used as a renewable energy source. Local production of energy. The control of the local recycling sites, and the role of CCC and SLDC to look at how this can be addressed,. The vehicle which is used to collect the glass, can be quieter. Respond
- WTC to give small grants per fitting micro renewable energy technology to encourage. Respond
- Can we do more to use less energy? Can Windermere and Bowness use more green energy? I am pleased that recycling collections have improved but it could be even better e.g cardboard/plastic. And what about hotels/shops - I see too much cardboard outside. Wheelie bins are unsightly but efficient. Could they be hidden? 1 x 2 weeks is fine. Will we collect food waste for an aerobic digester. Respond
