- More affordable housing. Encourage local business's to stay in an area for a sustainable community. Make a vibrant area to encourage young families. Cheaper transport enabling to travel to work,. Respond
- A care home for EMI is desperately need locally More provision locally for ambulance and immediate health care in emergencies. A leisure centre for young people as well as others where organised activities can take place in winter and poor weather for locals and visitors. Respond
- Health - Appointments are often in Barrow and ops at 8am which are impossible with present ambulance arrangements and friend's cars are not always available. Respond
- Health care is good - doctor provision is excellent. Waiting lists seen to be relatively short. Respond
- The Hub is useful and informative. A web site would be a good idea. Keep up the fight to keep Westmorland General fully operational. Respond
- Make Library more a community resource. The Hub a useful community publication but more in Gazette (weekly) about local things on the local community pages, Young people need to be made to feel part of community - often resented which leads to alleviation. Health Centre an excellent local facility, but we need the hospital in Kendal to maintain the range of services. Lancaster - Barrow too distant. Good range of leisure facilities if sought out (+ A* environment!) but upgrade of Troutbeck Pool would be great. Respond
- Health - keep Kendal Hospital going for local people, not reducing its service - its an excellent place in my experience and to get to Lancaster is difficult. Leisure - we are fortunate in an abundance of events but younger people need to be encourage to use and participate to keep all the local groups alive. Wellbeing - the maintenance of a resident community that participate, not a stream of tourists that drive locals away. Respond
- Community Wellbeing ok. Health Centre Excellent. The Hug is quite good and informative. Library - no complaints OK. Respond
- Fight to retain services at Westmorland General Hospital. Respond
- The encroachment onto small 'breathing spaces' which will reduce the amenity for locals to enjoy the village. Closure of facilities at Westmorland General Hospital will need to be monitored,. Respond
- GP referral centre at WGH - good but free transport is required for those who need it (elderly, those who live alone, those without transport) Respond
- Hub is excellent! We need a nursing home in Windermere. All facilities (Bowness)/Windermere) for young people should be free especially during school holidays. Our Doctors surgeries are very good. Respond
- Improved reporting of local activities in Gazette and elsewhere is badly needed. Health and Library well catered for. Improve railway - is money available? Community proceed in sporty achievements needs to be targeted. Young people - real effort is required in this area. Every encouragement to be given to all organisations who are trying to improve things in the area. The hub is improving with each issue. Respond
- Local points for bay call over the weekend - not everyone has transport to go to Kendal. Respond
- Health - The 'magic hour' to get by ambulance to Barrow or Lancaster from calling for an ambulance to getting to the hospital is impossible on many occasions. Kendal Hospital should be reinstated for coronary cases. Respond
- More sports grounds for young people, running tracks, football, all weather pitch, swimming pools. More Access to Libraries. Longer hours at doctors health centres (open Saturday mornings). Respond
