- The people have concerns that the Councilors are not aware of. The Town Council tries to communicate - our minutes are displayed after every meeting and the Hub is delivered to every house. We need a nursing home. Respond
- An extended nursing home on the existing site at Applethwaite Green. More information for youngsters regarding whets on 'for them - possibly through their school' Respond

- Of course, there's a need for a Nursing Home; when folk have to be removed to Kendal and beyond - it's very disruptive to their social contacts etc - not all their friends or neighbours will have cars/mobility etc. Which makes visiting very difficult. There are a lot of retired, older folk here. Respond
- I feel there is a good community spirit link it does suffer a little from numisy elements. Expect this is true in most places. Visitors - we need a leisure - but not near me. The councils are getting better at communication but still have a way to go. There is a great need for an EMI home in the area. Respond
- There is a need for more ambulances/air ambulances since in emergencies the nearest hospital is Kendal and for anything serious Lancaster or Barrow. Also we need a Nursing home for the elderly. Respond
- Library - could it be open more days and have a larger selection of books like Kendal Library. Young People - they really need encouraging to be proud of their town. Health - There is a need for another Nursing Home in Windermere. Respond
- Community - Why is the bus service reduced in the winter when the weather is colder. Older people can be house bound even in Bowness and Windermere. More buses would help. A Nursing Home would be an asset. Respond
- More nursing homes needed. Communication - National Park members to be elected. More 'open' meetings - representatives of CCC, SLDC, Parish Councils - this one we are attending has proved to be useful. Leisure - Good strides made with Skate Park etc. Possibly more Youth Clubs. The Hub - very useful and informative, Library - good addition to the village, well stocked and informative. Respond
