- More/better communication by the Constabulary re current issues - e.g levels of crime etc. Use of Gazette/The Hub or via local Societies/Committees. Respond
- Communication is not good from Town Council to all residents. Vibrant community centres to be available to an ever ageing population. Young people to attend same community centre. Hub to be put up on strategic notice boards. Make use of Westmorland central, i.e on issues of hygiene - healthy eating. Hotels/restaurants to supply food for meals on wheels. Make better use of the Library Building. Respond
- The Hub is good and should be encouraged, also the Library and all facilities for young people. Respond
- Not seen the Hub for over 6 months (live in Windermere). But useful when it is delivered. Respond
- The Hub is useful and informative. A web site would be a good idea. Keep up the fight to keep Westmorland General fully operational. Respond
- Make Library more a community resource. The Hub a useful community publication but more in Gazette (weekly) about local things on the local community pages, Young people need to be made to feel part of community - often resented which leads to alleviation. Health Centre an excellent local facility, but we need the hospital in Kendal to maintain the range of services. Lancaster - Barrow too distant. Good range of leisure facilities if sought out (+ A* environment!) but upgrade of Troutbeck Pool would be great. Respond
- Community Wellbeing ok. Health Centre Excellent. The Hug is quite good and informative. Library - no complaints OK. Respond
- The Hub - excellent. Started off by local people and has gone from strength to strength. More regular publications would be great! Respond
- Hub is excellent! We need a nursing home in Windermere. All facilities (Bowness)/Windermere) for young people should be free especially during school holidays. Our Doctors surgeries are very good. Respond
- Improved reporting of local activities in Gazette and elsewhere is badly needed. Health and Library well catered for. Improve railway - is money available? Community proceed in sporty achievements needs to be targeted. Young people - real effort is required in this area. Every encouragement to be given to all organisations who are trying to improve things in the area. The hub is improving with each issue. Respond
- Special attention needs to be given to the challenge of developing a sense of community when so many people who work here can't live here and there are so many visitors, Lack of leisure facilities/resources for 14-18 age groups. Hub delivery is patchy. Possibility of pick up point in Bowness. Most community wide facilities are located in Wiindermere - few in Bowness. Respond
- Encourage and increase: First responders. Neighbourhood watch. Use Hub more. Respond
- The Hub - very informative whats happening in Windermere. National Parks - should employ more local people to deal with local issues. Respond
- More nursing homes needed. Communication - National Park members to be elected. More 'open' meetings - representatives of CCC, SLDC, Parish Councils - this one we are attending has proved to be useful. Leisure - Good strides made with Skate Park etc. Possibly more Youth Clubs. The Hub - very useful and informative, Library - good addition to the village, well stocked and informative. Respond
- More information in the Hub, Westmorland Gazette about what can be disposed of at various local tips, ie asbestos at Kendal. Respond
